Adelsman + Ray Wedding /// Maltby, WA
It was sunny and 85 degrees for this beautiful, quaint wedding in the backwoods of Maltby, WA. Brian, Jen and 100 of their closest friends and family came together to cut loose and celebrate the happy couple. Cheers to the married couple! -
LaCoss Family
It's always an honor to shoot a new born baby. And when it's your friends, it's an even bigger compliment. Little Finley was just 13 days old when they allowed me into their home, gear and all, to capture this sweet little princess. -
Knight Family
Long time friends and cute baby makers, Adam and Randa with their beautiful daughter Jade spent the afternoon with my wife and I in Peter Kirk Park in Kirkland, WA while we snapped a few frames of this awesome new family. -
Wolverton + Phillips Wedding /// Woodinville, WA
The weather may have been dense but that couldn't stop the brimming love that Rob and Sarah brought to this intimate setting in November. The perfect time to celebrate their marriage with their three bright boys and only the closest of friends and family. Gorgeous and classy, the Wolverton's were a joy to photograph. -
Arlene /// Seattle, WA
How can you turn down the beautiful backdrop of the sunset and Seattle Art Museum's Olympic Sculpture Park. Answer: You can't. It made for the perfect backdrop for an early evening workout session with the late summer warmth and curious onlookers we had so much fun creating story of the seattle pursuit to be healthy and enjoy life. -
Houston & Haley /// Seattle, WA
Inspired by Levis Americana, the engaged couple of Houston and Haley were all in. Located in Discovery Park, we posted up with arm-loads of wardrobe on the front porch of an old army building. The scene was originally set for sunrise, but mother nature had a different plan for us and it just ended up being a very early morning for soft, overcast skies and diffused lighting. Nevertheless, Houston and Haley were perfect and the scenery was classic. -
Adam & Randa /// Seattle, WA
Just over 7 months pregnant with their first child, Adam & Randa are my long time friends and I had such a fun time capturing a moment in their life that will be looked back upon as the years pass. Volunteer Park in Seattle at sunset provides such a relaxed mood and beautiful light that captured the soft spoken nature of the proud parents to be. I'm so excited to meet baby Jade. ///UPDATE/// Jade LaRie was born 6lbs, 18inches and she's gorgeous! -
Crouch + Tatham Wedding /// Snohomish, WA
The perfect day and the perfect couple...Justin and Anna created the ultimate experience with their outdoor at-home wedding in Snohomish, WA. The weather was perfect and every detail was completely tailored to the love these two share for each other. -
Andy + Julie /// Discovery Park, Seattle, WA
Super fun and energetic couple, Andy and his #1 GF Julie wanted a couples session that showed off their giddy love for each other and for photography. Andy, who is the drummer for the chart topping band This Providence, had recently come home from tour; the interaction between these two was infectious. Smiles and laughs were abundant as their love flowed into every frame. -
Ballard /// Well...Ballard, WA
Aaahhh Ballard…the Scandinavian capital of Washington State, complete with Freia Melkesjokolade, lutefisk and the Sons of Norway. Ok, ok…that’s not the only thing Ballard is good for. It’s also great for a quick, laidback photoshoot of some friends. The concept? Meet at Cupcake Royale and head out to see what we could find. With the weather not cooperating, we made the best of it and even got lucky finding out one of the guys had a legit gold, 1988 Volvo 760 Turbo Station Wagon. The group was super chill and natural, which made it easy when creating a scene, as it usually happened organically. -
Smith Family /// Issaquah, WA
With only a couple weeks left before Smith baby #2 was set to arrive, Allison, Chris and baby Audrey met up at their local park. There, we picked out a few spots around the park and then, with little direction, let the family interact with each other while I captured their beautiful life. Audrey couldn't have been more cute for this session as she offered up some great photos for their coffee table. -
Zach /// Seattle, WA
Local, underground hip-hop connoisseur and classic shoe collector, Zach Hartline of PSTBLG.com modeled his gritty love for the hip-hop scene in this SODO area shoot. With his clean aesthetic and legit beard (I was jealous) Zach, looked like he was born to vibe with the city. -
Terryl & Kat /// Golden Gardens, Seattle, WA
Terryl had recently acquired this sweet '91 Ford Thunderbird with a pink pinstripe, which made for a perfect background for this smokin' trendy couple. The sun wasn't quite cooperating when we arrived, but after about 45 minutes we began capturing some frames. Terryl, with his doe eyed look and classic James Dean meets Urban Outfitters vibe, perfectly complemented his wife's endless hair and penetrating eyes. -
Emily /// Snohomish, WA
Emily, or Bickles as I like to call her (her last name is Bichler) is a fellow photographer who has that young, down home vibe that makes for a fun and youthful look. We started this shoot in the rain, ultimately moving into Old Town Snohomish to finish off the shoot as the sunlight diminished. -
Naomi /// Seattle, WA
This shoot developed organically and came out better than what I imagined in my head. We were driving to another location when we just so happened to pass this industrial area side street. Since it was the weekend, everything was quiet, which was perfect for this shoot. Naomi was a natural, as is evident in the final product.
