App Blender...it's a mess out there.

As someone who enjoys technology, hardware and software alike, I find myself searching and using several apps to help me remember, save, catalog, stream etc my personal, professional and digital worlds. Here are a handful of apps I use daily:
- Tweetie for Mac | Streams all my tweets, keeps track of my favorites and DMs, allows me to search and of course, looks shiny. A great app with a small footprint. Sorry, Mac only. But for you PC users, I hear Tweetdeck is pretty cool too.
- 1Password | 1Password is by far one of the best apps I've downloaded and subsequently bought. The main function of 1Password is to store your login info so that when you navigate to a site that requires you to login you just click a button and select the appropriate login and voila...logged in. It can also store your credit cards for use with the same function as well as make passwords up for you. It's so simple. If you're like me, you have dozens of logins if not more, which you inevitably forget and have to reset. 1Password prevents all of that. The app is free up to 20 items, but it's well worth the $$ to have unlimited. Oh and there's an iPhone app too!
- Adium | Adium is a Mac only IM client that allows you to aggregate your multiple IM accounts into one neat home. It's a totally free app that is allows coming out with new features.
- Action Method | This web based app in concert with the iPhone app has revolutionized my organization both personally and professionally. It basically boils life down into five basic elements allowing you to create Action Steps for yourself to accomplish a task or project. It's a free service up to 50 Action Steps with a paid service above that which when comparing the cost to similar services is incredibly inexpensive. The nice thing about Action Method is that it's versatile enough for the everyday life, not just your job. Action Method simplifies the process, so you can simplify your life.
- FileZilla | A free FTP solution, FileZilla is my one stop shop when uploading files to my host for NineThirtyThree.com. It's simple, free and although not as shiny as say Cyberduck, it gives me less glitch with my particular site design foundation.
A short list, but one that streamlines my life. What do you use?
